    Aim
    The aim of Dry CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training is to ensure that the learner gains the required knowledge and understanding of the particular hazards and properties of a CA-EBS system and appropriate practical emergency response actions to take should the requirement for emergency deployment arise.

    Objectives
    1.  They understand rationale and use CA-EBS in helicopter emergency situations, including the fundamental differences between re-breather and compressed air systems (technology and use).

2. They understand the hazards associated with compressed air emergency breathing systems.

3. They can use Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) during their travel to the offshore in a helicopter.

Learner Prerequisites : Learners must possess a valid BOSIET/FOET/HUET/T-BOSIET/T-FOET/T-HUET (or Industry agreed equivalent) certificate prior to attending the OPITO Dry Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment Training programme.
